Where is delivery available?

Delivery is available to locations in Ancaster, Dundas and Hamilton West of James Street/Upper James. If you are outside of our designated delivery areas please consider choosing “Pick Up” or inquire with us first to see if we can accommodate your delivery request.

Due to Covid: Our staff will not enter buildings for deliveries. We cannot deliver to hospitals or nursing homes at this time.

If you are unable to be home during the appointed delivery time, please leave a sparkling CLEAN vase/jar/bucket with CLEAN fresh cool water at your doorstep in a shaded and non-windy location. Your flowers will be delivered directly into that vessel. Once you receive your flowers, follow the instructions on the back of the attached card to ensure the continued freshness of your flowers. Flora Borealis cannot be held responsible for any deterioration in the quality/freshness/vase-life of your flowers due to time spent outdoors. It is advisable to bring your flowers indoors as soon as possible, as time spent outside in the summer weather will decrease their vase life.

Contactless pick-up is available in Lynden, Ontario (address provided at checkout).

How do I keep my

flowers fresh?

Keeping your flowers hydrated is key to maintaining their freshness.

For delivery: If you are not home at the time of delivery, leave a sparkling CLEAN vase/jar/bucket with CLEAN, fresh, cool water at your doorstep. Your flowers will be delivered directly into that vessel.

For contactless pick-up: Bring a clean vessel with clean, cool water. Transfer your flowers from our bucket into your vessel. We are committed to limiting the garbage and waste we produce in the operation of our farm. We do not provide plastic bags, floral foam or other such materials for transport of flowers.

Once your flowers arrive home: Please follow the instructions on the back of the tag attached to your bouquet to provide best care for your blooms and ensure you get the longest vase life possible.

I’ll be away one week of my subscription. What should I do?

We are unable to carry forward any missed bouquets, if you’ll be away for a pick-up/delivery please ask a friend or family member to claim your bouquet.
